Yoga can be used to address back and neck problems.
In Iyengar yoga there is a strong focus on postural alignment and a lot of back pain can be managed, if not resolved, by addressing postural habits learned in class.
Sometimes it may be preferable to have an individual consultation to decide whether it is best to do a tailored practice with One-to-One sessions or join a class.
Annamaria Sacco, our Director, and Liz Ballantyne who offer individual consultations and One-to-One sessions have undergone rigorous training for a number of years and are regularly attending Professional Development Days and further training.
Several of our Teachers have studied with the Iyengar family in India, as well as having completed a further three year course on remedial yoga.
