width=Yoga is very beneficial for back problems. In Iyengar yoga there is a strong focus on postural alignment and a lot of back pain can be managed if not resolved by addressing postural habits and that can be done in a general class.

Sometimes it may be preferable to have an individual consultation and arrange one or more one to one sessions and then make a decision on whether it is best to do a tailored practice or join a class.

Annamaria, our Director, as well as other teachers who may take individual sessions have undergone rigorous training for a number of years and are regularly attending Professional Development Days and further training. Several of us have studied with the Iyengar family in India, as well as having completed a further three year course on remedial yoga.
